Latitudes Contemporaines Lille / Bruxelles

The Latitudes Contemporaines Association has been supporting and raising the visibility of new approaches to choreography since 2003, presenting each year in the Lille area its festival dedicated to multidisciplinary expressions and work. From its inception the festival has been applauded by audiences and professionals alike for the coherence and audacity of its programming.

In September 2009, the Festival Latitudes contemporaines moved into its new headquarters at the Halles de Schaerbeek under the name LATITUDES LILLE/BRUXELLES. Dance/ non-dance; dance/ visual arts; well-known artists, spontaneous, subversive, as well as the up and coming younger generation … LATITUDES LILLE/BRUXELLES allows us to explore all our questions about the dance of today, porous, transgressive – and even, sometimes, not dancing.
